How do I clean my earrings?

If you happen to get something on your earrings, you can wipe them with a soft, damp cloth. If you encounter a stubborn mark or stain, you can clean your piece by rubbing the spot lightly with a cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol.

How do I care for my clay earrings?

Be kind to your earrings. While polymer clay is durable, the earrings should not be bent or they may snap.

Avoid exposing your earrings to perfumes, hairsprays or dry shampoos. Do not wear them in water.

Pieces made with raw brass charms may need to be polished after regular wear. You can do this with a natural polish made by mixing baking soda and lemon juice applied with a cotton swab.

Do you accept returns?

Because of the nature of my small business and for health and safety reasons, I cannot accept returns. However, if you are unsatisfied with your purchase, please email me at hello@thecraftedmakerie within 7 days of receiving your order. I do offer a 90 day guarantee on all earrings. If something happens to your earrings due to a design flaw within 90 days of purchase, I will gladly replace your earrings or provide a refund. Proof of purchase is required.

Are your earrings heavy?

Not at all! Polymer clay is lightweight and functional, allowing you to look great while giving your ears a rest.

Do you take custom orders?

Yes! I would love to collaborate with you to create unique pieces! If you would like to place a custom order, you can email me on the Contact page.

Pricing for custom orders is on a case by case basis.

How should I store my earrings?

Store your Crafted Makerie pieces in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent fading.

When do you ship?

All earrings that are listed in stock will ship in 2-4 business days from time of order.

What are your shipping charges?

Currently, the base price for shipping is $5.00. Orders over $50 before taxes ship for free!

Do you ship internationally?

Unfortunately, I am unable to offer international shipping at this time, but I hope to offer it in the future.

How does local pickup work?

Free, local pick up is only available to those who are local to Milton, FL and surrounding areas. Once you place your order and select the pick up option, you will receive a text from me with more details regarding your order within two days. Pick up orders are porch pick up only—no deliveries. Processing times for all orders are 1-3 business days.
